I was going to post about another Lutheran book available through Goodreads Giveaway: J.L. Vaughan‘s book, No Good Son, and now I’ve just found out about another one ending super soon: Sarah Baughman‘s Violet’s Daybreak!
I had a guest post introducing J.L. Vaughan a while back. Admittedly, I still haven’t read and reviewed this, his second novel, so I’ve already entered. Still, I can tell you that No Good Son is a crime thriller set in Seattle. It’s about a thief named Mike who realizes what he is doing is wrong and feels compelled to try and make up for his broken past. Mike’s new convictions come on the same day that he meets a woman and falls in love. That day he also finds his own brother in trouble with some of the worst parts of Seattle’s organized crime and knows he has to try and pull his brother out of it.
Sarah Baughman, on the other hand, writes Regency Era fiction. This is her second book in a series (although you don’t need to read the first one to enjoy the second), regarding Violet Windham with her marriage with a stranger and her new role establishing herself as Lady Reymes, Countess of Bainscroft.
So log onto Goodreads and sign on up for the two giveaways. I’ll add Amazon links below so you can add them to your wish list so you can remember—and share—them later.
