I like resources and resource pages. I like tidy lists that can serve as one stop shops. So, I’m thinking about putting together yet another page on this site, listing Lutheran resources that may or may not be writing related. By that I mean, links for free resources like Bible studies and not-free resources like Lutheran Etsy shops. Is that dumb? Am I losing sight of my focus with this page?
Admittedly, a friend of mine just opened an Etsy shop, selling pen work like calligraphy or other hand lettering. You can find it at Solus Calamum Designs. And, why not help generate flow to Ad Crucem if I can?
The other part of it is why not post my three session Bible study on barrenness somewhere other than my publication page? I mean, it’s not like I’m seeking publication for it.
What do you think? Am I going overboard on resource pages? Am I dreaming to think a “Crafts and Crafted-for-Free” page would be practical and helpful? Part of me thinks the Fine Arts naturally sync together, and, if I’m supporting Lutheran writers, illustrators, graphic designers, etc., why not list professional crafters, too?
Maybe like the other pages, I’ll see how much info I can get. Know crafters, jewelers, painters, photographers? Let me know if they have websites. I don’t mean to advertise, exactly, or endorse, but acknowledging them seems fitting. Right?
I’m open to all your thoughts. Maybe I’ve sunk too deeply into my own. 😉
I like the idea! 🙂
