I’ve talked about BookBub here before. It’s great: a daily email showing either free or super discounted digital books. (HT to my awesome mother-in-law who introduced me to it!) Now, there’s a similar service called Chirp for audio books!
I daresay BookBub has little idea that I exist as a blogger. I get no deal or compensation for recommending them, but recommend them I do. Go to BookBub, sign up, specify what kinds of books you enjoy, and, viola!, an easy, free, steady stream of books to peruse.
(Now, if you’re an author, I’ve heard it’s pretty pricey to get accepted, but a really good way to advertise around the world.)
Chirp for audio books is put together by the same BookBub editors and the deals still boast up to 95% off regular price. The emails are still free with no obligations.
A lot of people are into audio books! If you still haven’t tried them, you might consider it. As to how it works, once you purchase something through Chirp, you can stream through the Chirp app (available on the Apple App Store or Google Play), through the Chirp website, or download it for offline listening.
I’m sure it’s great for those quiet spells that, as a stay at home mother of many, I dream about. 🙂 You know, like commutes, quiet kitchens, exercising, etc.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know.
