I found out about another Lutheran children’s book, Ariel: The Curious Cat of Christmas by Lutheran author Michael Martin. (Note, there is also a presumably non-Lutheran author of that name.)
I haven’t seen the book itself, but the premise sounds promising. A curious cat travels to Bethlehem, where she becomes friends with some well-placed stable animals. 🙂
There’s more text than you might expect in a book for little kids, but I think it’s because this is more of a family read aloud.
Anyway, if you get this before I do, I’d be happy to post a review of it.
Happy August, folks! (How in the world did August get here so fast?!)
