It Must Be the Noodles

Another Lutheran author! I’m so pleased to introduce you to Lutheran author, poet, and retired pastor Ray Spitzenberger. 🙂 He’s graciously sent in a guest post, but even before we get to that, I’d like to turn your attention to his book, It Must Be the Noodles & Other Wendish Stories from Mama’s Texas Kitchen. Starting Over

The irony of starting over with this post after a storm interrupted me! But sometimes starting over seems to plague me. Whoops

Whoops! I started to blog last night, set the draft to publish the next morning as I typically do, and then we lost electricity due to a storm. By the time electricity was back on, we were all in bed.

I’ll finish what I started, just not yet. Gotta get homeschooling done! God willing, I’ll have a good post for you at the usual time tomorrow morning.

Blessings on your day!

Sometimes Words Don’t Come

My friends. Sometimes words don’t come. They just refuse to fall into place, despite every good intention, moment of peace to write, and even that clarity of thought which otherwise bodes so well!

The Accidental Lutheran

The accidental Lutheran. How’s that for a title? THAT’S A GREAT TITLE! And I’m so excited that there is now a book to go along with it! The Accidental Lutheran is a new release by now-Lutheran Dr. Nancy Almodovar.

Ariel: The Curious Cat of Christmas

I found out about another Lutheran children’s book, Ariel: The Curious Cat of Christmas by Lutheran author Michael Martin. (Note, there is also a presumably non-Lutheran author of that name.)
