Yesterday I got two projects to what I’ll call a satisfied draft form. Is it finished? Maybe not just yet. But the content, structure, basics, and even details are there. Might I still putter? Maybe, but mostly not. God-willing only very minor changes remain.
Which means it’s time for feedback!
The project I most want to share is likely my most ambitious hymn attempt. Although it’s only five stanzas, which is pretty short for me, I’ve condensed a lot down into what I hope is an insightful, focused look at just how much favor God turns toward us in Christ.
Ah, but here’s the rub. I don’t want to publish the hymn online. I’d rather save it for a non-digital debut. I wish I could publish it privately, just to those who follow my Facebook page, but Facebook isn’t set up that way. But if you Facebook message me, I’ll let you see it. Whenever I manage to get onto Facebook and see your message. 🙂 But you need to promise not to broadcast it to the world. 🙂 I’d welcome feedback, but, honestly? All total killjoys can wait a week or two until I’m better rested. Fair?
The other project is the pastoral planner for my dearest. Hopefully he can look it over in the next day or two. Then I can order a proof and see how the formatting translates to paper! Yay! (Also much fear and trepidation! Word’s been a bit of a killer, trying to do so much. Oh well. At least I’m learning.)
I have two reviews I really, really want to post, but they were books 2 & 3 in a series, so now I’ve ordered the first to review them properly. But yay for Lutheran pastor and author Michael L McCoy and his allegories! I’m quite smitten with them!
