I went to the store yesterday to get yeast. I think some therapeutic baking is in my future and I don’t want it all to be brownies and cookies. 🙂 So, while honestly I’d love to lose myself in a book for about three weeks right now, I’m going to encourage you to do something besides hide. Something that can give you a little lift.
Rediscover music. Make it. Listen to it. Take some time for it.
Make a slightly-nicer-than-usual dinner. Stock your freezer with extra rolls or other yeast-y treats.
Consider re-watching a favorite cathartic movie.
Things seem to be moving too fast. Let things slow down.
Panicking? Maybe get some fresh air. I’m thankful that around here the last few days have been much nicer than earlier. Admittedly, rain is in the forecast for the next week. Still, we can enjoy the sunshine while we can! I got my snow peas planted.
I don’t know why yesterday’s post didn’t post on time. (Or today’s. I always set them to post at 6am CST. )There’s frankly a lot I don’t know or understand at this point. But maybe I just won’t get hung up on it. I’m going to be with my kids, tucked away in my small town, with ingredients for lasagna in the frig.
