Ok. Not technically by a Lutheran author . . . or is it? Anyway, Crossway has just put out a really nice looking Greek Scriptural Journal: New Testament Set.
Some of you might think “journaling” and think drawings. That’s fine. More power to you. But this set has me geeking out, thinking about all the room for personalized translation notes!
From the Amazon blurb:
This 19-volume set features thin, portable notebooks each containing one or more books of the New Testament and is great for college or seminary students learning Greek, pastors preparing for sermons, or anyone interested in taking notes alongside passages in the original Greek.
- 3/8-inch space in between each line of Greek text
- 1″ margins
- Covers stamped with gold foil
- 19 volumes
- Lay-flat binding
- Lined pages for notes in the back
Alas, I daresay it isn’t for me at this point. Goodness, at this point I’d probably need to restart learning Greek. But maybe someday! Maybe by the time my kids are learning it! 🙂
Not everyone would be into this set, but your pastor might, if you’re looking for a pastor appreciation gift. Or a graduation gift for a classically-trained student or seminarian! This Greek Scriptural Journal could become priceless in the right hands!
