I got my copy of Katie Koplin’s Forgiven Therefore Free Devotional Study Journal for Galatians and I’m really pleased with it.

Catching Up
My friends, I have a (digital) stack of stuff to blog about. I just haven’t had the time to write them up, so I’ll be a bit unusual for myself and blog through the weekend, catching up.
Ha haa, that is, I’ll start writing posts and just schedule them out as far in advance as necessary.
The first thing I’ll mention is this blog post here by Lars Walker. If you recall, I jump to read his books! Any and all of them! But I’m really into his series on Erling Skjalgsson!
Read his post to see a little into his writing life and another story to come. Yay!

Just a busy week
Sorry. It’s just a busy week. It’s a vortex between football, soccer, and basketball right now. Six different teams all practicing is just eating up my time. But the vortex should dissipate next week when games actually start. 🙂 Because then four soccer teams will all meet at the same big ol’ field at the same time and that simplifies things SO MUCH!
Meanwhile, if you’re a Kindle user, be sure to check out Amazon in case you have a Kindle promo chance to spend $20 to earn $5. It may not be worth it for some, but it’s sure worth it for me! Bought me more Lutheran novels! Woo hoo!
Now to find time to read ’em and get back to blogging!

Compend of Lutheran Theology
I got an email announcing that Just and Sinner Publications has released the last volume in the Classics in Dogmatics series: an early seventeenth century Lutheran theologian Leonhard Hutter work titled Compend of Lutheran Theology.

Following
In an effort to be better about announcing new releases, I went ahead and plugged through my list of living Lutheran authors so I could get following info through Amazon. Thus far I’m loving it. Getting a new release email adds a bit of perkiness to my day.

Digital Bonus Sunday School Materials
Hey, did you see that CPH has digital bonus Sunday school materials up for 14 lessons of Unit 4, Enduring Faith Sunday School Curriculum? Our church is hoping to start back up with Sunday school and Bible study, but I know we’ve had some hesitation due to so many concerns. Thanks to CPH for the resources they’re sharing! I think it says a lot.
Also, check out this excerpt from Johann Gerhard’s On the Resurrection of the Dead and the Last Judgment – Theological Commonplaces. Looks good to me! Though not quite my usual light reading. 🙂
