A Loyal Heart

Today’s review is on A Loyal Heart by Lutheran author Jody Hedlund, in her series, An Uncertain Choice

A Loyal Heart Review

How do you stay loyal when conflicts keep appearing? Sure, there is family loyalty. Would you do anything to protect your sister? But what about when your father asks to do immoral things? What kind of loyalty is there to those hosting you, even when you were brought there against your will?

Olivia is a fierce & mostly well-intentioned hero, whose loyalty comes into conflict. Except as things grow increasingly complicated, I think the author is asking us to cut through all the extras and reconsider what makes something good, right, and loyal.

Another enjoyable read. Aldric is a good character. It was good to be able to see him through the eyes of the series as well as Olivia’s. It was good to see that sort of healing.

This was a good read.

Sadly, my readers, I don’t yet have access to the fifth, so this is it for my run of reviews. I’m pretty tired after Holy Week and Easter, (May all church musicians have restful weeks this week!) so I may or may not get to daily posts this week.
