I’ve put together two 2022-2023 planners. Can you help me spread the word? 🙂 There is a pastoral planner and a deaconess planner, both which include lectionary references for the One Year and the Three Year series from Lutheran Service Book. Table of Contents & and some pictures below.
Pastoral Planner
Contents
- Traditional Calendar Pages: Two-Page Spreads
- Sermon Planning Pages with Lectionary Bible References for One and Three-Year Series from Lutheran Service Book

- Agenda Items Chart with Multiple Columns for Various Responsibilities

Deaconess Planner
You may laugh, but I got a lot more feedback about suggestions for this one. 🙂 This one specifies more about goals and planning, though it is still clearly based off the pastoral planner in content.
Contents
- Goal & Advanced Planning Page
- Traditional Calendar Pages: Two-Page Spreads
- Diaconal Prayer, Deaconess Spirit & Deaconess Litany
- Note Pages with Lectionary Bible References for One and Three-Year Series from Lutheran Service Book
- Weekly Schedules by the Hour
- Visitation Charts
- Mileage per Month Charts
- Advanced Calendar with select holidays for Dates to Come
- Note Pages with Multiple Columns for Various Responsibilities
I haven’t received my copy yet, so I can’t include pictures. Much of it is just like above, though I included lines from the Deaconess Litany on the weekly note pages (as opposed to service planning pages). 🙂

Both-Ish
Here’s a paragraph a version of which goes with each:
The point of this planner is to be as absolutely useful as possible. We recommend using a mini-clip to clasp the pages between the current monthly calendar and the current weekly calendar or planning page. Other commonly used pages, like the Diaconal Prayer, Visitation, and Mileage, can be marked with a “book bullet” or a paper clip. On our calendar pages, please note that, every once in a while, a few days of the month may be included on a previous spread. We have included Feasts & Festivals and a select few secular American holidays. In this regard, we tend toward minimalism, including those which may impact institutional closings. This planner goes from Advent 2022 through the end of 2023.
Have questions? Just ask! 😀
Please help spread the word, or, better yet, get your pastor a planner gift this October for Pastor Appreciation!
It’s great! I left a review at lulu.com.
