Saints of the Reformation
The Lutheran Church–Canada has released a new book to celebrate this year’s important Reformation Anniversary! It looks really good! Titled Saints of the Reformation, it explores events, ideas, and movements, sure, but also “the story of people, individuals made of the same flesh and blood as we are. it is the story of their faith, their witness, their way of handling conflict, . . . .” etc. AWESOME!

Knowledge of Him
I’m still finding resources for my free resource page, Crafts and Crafted for Free, so here’s another one: Knowledge of Him. Their goal is to provide free, easy to use resources that encourage you in your daily walk with Christ and pursuit of the knowledge of Him. Their focus is on encouraging reading Scripture and daily prayer, but I suspect they have plans to expand and they are very open to requests and suggestions. Woo hoo! 🙂
Prelude to Postlude
I had a string of good writing days. Sadly, that stopped. Oh well, here’s another neat Lenten resource. It’s nothing to give up as a discipline. Rather, it’s something to add. I think it’s an excellent idea, especially for writers and word people like us. So, with little more prelude . . .

Lambs at Pasture
I love passing along Lutheran resources as they come out. Today’s resource highlight is “Lambs at Pasture,” a new weekly tool for daily family devotions. It’s being distributed free of charge via Steadfast Lutherans and it’s put together by LCMS Pastor Derrick Brown and his wife, Kris Brown, a talented graphic designer on my Freelance Writer Support page.
